Tom Cortese, co-founder and chief product officer of Peloton, has announced that he will be stepping down from his role. In an official press release, Peloton stated that Cortese will be replaced by Nick Caldwell, a former executive at Twitter. Cortese expressed his desire to move on and create space for new perspectives, stating that he is excited to support the next phase of Peloton’s evolution. However, he will still maintain an advisory role within the company to support its vision and growth.

Cortese has played a crucial role at Peloton, leading the development of new fitness equipment such as the company’s rower. While stepping down from his current position, he remains committed to the company’s success and will continue to contribute to its growth in an advisory capacity from November 1st onwards. Cortese’s decision reflects a desire for personal and professional growth, as well as a commitment to supporting Peloton’s ongoing development.

In the meantime, Peloton has selected Nick Caldwell, a former executive from Twitter, to take over as the new chief product officer. Caldwell brings extensive experience from major tech companies like Microsoft, Reddit, Google, and Twitter.
