Netflix has introduced older games to its platform during its Geeked Week 2024 presentation. The streaming service announced the addition of Civilization VI and Street Fighter IV: Champion Edition, among other titles, to its expanding game lineup.
For Civilization VI, players will have access to all the expansion packs included in the Platinum Edition of the game. In the case of Street Fighter IV, the Champion Edition will be available, featuring all 32 fighters released over the game’s lifetime. Both iOS and Android users will be able to compete online exclusively via Netflix. However, no launch dates have been provided, with Netflix indicating that the games are "coming soon."
Street Fighter and Civilization will join other games announced for the platform, including Don’t Starve Together, Stardew Valley-with-Hobbits simulator Tales of the Shire, Lab Rat, Carmen Sandiego, Monument Valley, Spongebob Bubble Pop F.U.N., and Battleship.
