The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Marianas has awarded a $600 million design-build construction contract to nine companies. The contract will cover new construction, renovation, modernization, routine repair, and maintenance of various federal or military facilities in the NAVFAC Marianas area of operations. One of the awarded companies, Techni-Con Inc., will receive $16.25 million for the renovation of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) warehouse in Barrigada, Guam. The project is expected to be completed by March 2026, with the overall contract running until September 2031.
The Army has also awarded two contracts. Renk America has received an $11.07 million contract for piston assemblies, while Fidelity Technologies Corp. has been awarded an $18.75 million contract for the design and procurement of a UH-60M flight simulator. The completion dates for these contracts are October 2028 and September 2027, respectively.
In addition, Bimbo Bakeries USA has been awarded a $9.9 million contract by the Defense Logistics Agency for fresh bread and bakery items. The three-year contract will serve Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard locations across several states.
FlightSafety International Defense Corp., operating as FSI Defense, has received a modification contract worth $9.85 million for the exercise of options in the KC-46 Aircrew Training System Production Year 9. The total cumulative face value of the contract is now $435.55 million, with work expected to be completed by September 2025.
