Tecglass, a leading provider of turn-key digital printing solutions, has announced the establishment of a new business unit in the United States. This move is part of the company’s global expansion efforts and demonstrates its commitment to serving customers and partners in the North American market. By incorporating AGT Advanced Glass Technologies, Tecglass will operate from AGT’s existing facilities in Downingtown, PA, supplying ceramic inks, consumables, and spare parts directly to customers in North America. This strategic expansion allows Tecglass to improve its service commitment and operate directly in the U.S.
To adapt to evolving market conditions, customer preferences, and business goals, Tecglass has terminated its contractual relationship with IGE GLASS TECHNOLOGIES, its former exclusive distributor. As a result, the company will now establish commercial relationships directly with the end customer. Gustavo Lázara, the Area Manager for NA, will continue to lead Tecglass’ market presence in North America with the support of the existing commercial network available through the Fenzi Group and AGT Advanced Glass Technologies.
In addition to its expansion plans, Tecglass has announced its participation in GlassBuild America 2023, the largest annual gathering for professionals in the glass, window, and door industries in North America. The event, scheduled to take place in October-November at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA, will showcase the latest trends, technologies, and innovations in the glass industry. Tecglass will be an exhibitor at the event, showcasing its cutting-edge digital printing turn-key solution and hosting live demos to provide visitors with in-depth knowledge about the advantages of digital printing technology. This participation highlights Tecglass’ commitment to staying ahead of the curve and meeting the evolving needs of the industry.
