Urgent: Company in Need of Interim Finance Director for Immediate Hire

Lincoln County, Oregon is seeking an interim Finance Director to lead their audit, budget, and general finance activities from February through June 2024. This position reports to the County Administrator and involves both in-person and remote work. Responsibilities include preparing for the 2022-2023 audit, overseeing internal controls and approvals, and managing the Finance Department’s employees. With a budget of $184 million and 489 employees, the Finance Department operates with a strong management team and a total of 7.75 FTEs, including the Director and Assistant Director.

The Finance Director will work under the direction of the County Administrator, Board of Commissioners, and a budget committee to manage the County’s financial management program. This includes overseeing budget, annual audit, payroll, accounting, grant administration, and mail room activities, as well as providing guidance to elected officials, department directors, managers, supervisors, and employees.
