House Democrat Regrets Supporting Laken Riley Act Vote

At a CNN town hall on Thursday, Representative Jahana Hayes from Connecticut expressed regret over her decision to support the Laken Riley Act. She acknowledged that upon reflection over the past months, she likely would have chosen a different course of action. Hayes admitted at the forum that the vote is one she regrets. The congresswoman further elaborated on her reasoning at the event.
