Ten members of the House of Representatives from the Democratic Party have urged the Pentagon to decrease air traffic in the vicinity of Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) following a fatal midair collision in January. The incident involved an Army helicopter and a passenger aircraft, resulting in the deaths of all 67 individuals on board. Representative Don Beyer from Virginia is leading the group in this initiative. They have reached out to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to address their concerns about air safety in the area.
