Joe Flacco to reportedly join Browns’ practice squad, according to sources.

The Cleveland Browns are signing Super Bowl-winning quarterback Joe Flacco to their practice squad. Flacco is expected to be promoted to the active roster. The Browns previously worked out Flacco on Friday to fill the void left by Deshaun Watson, who is out for the season with a shoulder injury. After defeating the Pittsburgh Steelers with rookie starting quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson, the Browns are now adding Flacco to their roster.

Joe Flacco has a strong track record, throwing for over 42,000 yards and 232 touchdowns in his career. He led the Baltimore Ravens to a Super Bowl victory in 2013 and was named Super Bowl MVP. Most recently, Flacco started games for the New York Jets during the 2022 season, leading the Jets to a comeback victory against the Browns that year. The Browns are currently 7-3 and are set to face the Denver Broncos on the road next weekend.

It will be interesting to see how Flacco’s experience and skillset will impact the Browns’ lineup. With the addition of Flacco, the Browns hope to continue their success and maintain their strong position in the league. Meanwhile, the veteran quarterback will have the opportunity to showcase his talents once again as he joins the talented roster in Cleveland.
