Rep. Chuck Edwards (R-N.C.), who serves the western district of North Carolina, expressed dissatisfaction with the federal response following the damage caused by Tropical Storm Helene. Speaking on Monday, Edwards described the response as “disappointing” during an interview with Blake Burman on NewsNation’s “The Hill.”
On Sunday, North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper (D) also commented on the situation.
