Local officials have reported that a suspect in the recent arson incident at the Pennsylvania governor’s residence employed Molotov cocktails and had plans to assault Governor Josh Shapiro. According to a criminal complaint filed by the Pennsylvania State Police, Cody Balmer allegedly stated that he intended to “beat” Governor Shapiro “with his hammer” if they had crossed paths during the incident.
