USDA Identifies 150+ Schools Potentially Impacted by Listeria Recall

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced that over 150 schools received BrucePac products potentially contaminated with listeria, according to a release issued on Thursday. The USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service has deemed all ready-to-eat meat and poultry products manufactured by BrucePac in Durant, Oklahoma, from May 31 to October 8 as unsafe for consumption. The company has since expanded its recall of these products to address the potential health risks associated with listeria contamination.
