Nintendo has announced a new mobile app, titled Nintendo Music, as anticipation builds for the company’s next console release. This app, exclusively available to Switch Online subscribers, offers users the opportunity to listen to music from classic Nintendo games, such as Splatoon, Animal Crossing, and The Legend of Zelda. It becomes available later today.
The app provides a variety of curated playlists that are organized by games, moments, moods, or characters. Users also have the option to create their own playlists. Additionally, the app supports both streaming and downloading of tracks for offline listening. Notably, there is a spoiler feature allowing users to exclude tracks that may spoil a game they have yet to play or complete. For those interested in a more relaxed listening experience, the app permits looping or extending select tracks to 15, 30, or 60 minutes for uninterrupted listening.
