Fortnite is introducing new parental control features that allow parents to set time limits on how long their children can play the game. Parents will have the ability to specify the daily playtime for their children, designate specific time windows during which the game can be played, and decide if their children can request additional playtime.
When time limits are enabled, children will receive an in-game notification 30 minutes before their allocated playtime expires. This tracking applies to various Fortnite modes created by Epic Games, including Battle Royale and Lego Fortnite, as well as user-generated content developed through the Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN).
Additionally, parents will have access to a Time Reports dashboard, which provides insights into how much time their children are spending on the game.
