Squid Game Returns in Season 2 Trailer

Netflix has unveiled a new teaser for the second season of Squid Game on Thursday. The character Gi-hun, portrayed by Lee Jung-jae, is once again involved in the games. The trailer suggests that he may attempt to persuade other contestants to rise against the competition, though he might face challenges in doing so at times.

According to the description from the trailer, "Three years after winning Squid Game, Player 456 gave up going to the states and returns with a new resolution in mind." Gi-hun reenters the survival game, engaging in another life-or-death contest with new participants vying for a prize of 45.6 billion won.

Since announcing in 2022 that the series would have a second season, Netflix has gradually shared updates about the upcoming content. These include details about new cast members, some images, and other teasers. The latest trailer provides perhaps the most comprehensive preview of what to anticipate when the season premieres on December 26th.

A third and final season is scheduled for release next year.
