Elon Musk has recently emphasized his intention to “make new humans.” However, a Wall Street Journal investigation suggests that Musk may have fathered more children than the 14 already known, with sources indicating the actual number could be considerably higher. The report also outlines Musk’s efforts to keep these details confidential.
Central to these affairs is Jared Birchall, a longtime associate who manages Musk’s family office. Birchall is reportedly responsible for overseeing the logistics of Musk’s expanding family, which includes drafting non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and acting as a confidant for some of the mothers of Musk’s children.
One particular case involves conservative influencer Ashley St. Clair, who was reportedly asked by Musk to sign a restrictive agreement following the birth of their son last fall. The proposed arrangement included $15 million, along with an additional $100,000 monthly until the child turned 21, in exchange for her silence. St. Clair declined the offer, noting that the terms worsened with each perceived breach of agreement. She revealed to the Journal that Musk’s team provided her only $20,000 after the newspaper sought Musk’s comment on the article in question.
Regarding Birchall, who also serves as the CEO of Musk’s brain-implant company Neuralink and a partner at his AI venture xAI, managing Musk’s personal affairs could be considered a third full-time occupation. According to the Journal, in a two-hour conversation with St. Clair, Birchall advised that pursuing legal action against Musk invariably results in a less favorable outcome for the involved woman than would otherwise be expected.
