Rudy Giuliani Set for Fulton County Negotiation, Bond Surrender Wednesday

Rudy Giuliani and several other co-defendants of former President Donald Trump in the Georgia election subversion case are expected to surrender to Fulton County jail on Wednesday, according to multiple sources from CNN. Giuliani wants to complete the process before Trump arrives in Georgia. While two defendants have already surrendered, only four out of the 18 co-defendants have been booked as of Wednesday morning. Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has charged Trump and 18 others with participating in schemes to tamper with Georgia’s election results. All 19 co-defendants are expected to surrender by Friday as requested by Willis when she announced last week’s indictment.

Trump has agreed to a $200,000 bond and plans to turn himself in on Thursday. Meanwhile, Willis is still negotiating bond agreements with the defendants. Giuliani is scheduled to meet with Willis on Wednesday to discuss a bond agreement, while former New York police commissioner Bernie Kerik will accompany him during his trip to Georgia to help find a local lawyer for his representation. It is expected that Giuliani will have a lawyer with a Georgia license for the bond negotiations, but it is unclear if that attorney will continue to represent him throughout the case.
