Amazon has recently launched its newest delivery program called Amazon Hub Delivery, aimed at empowering small businesses and creating new opportunities for them to grow and scale their businesses. The program partners with local businesses, such as florists, coffee shops, clothing boutiques, plumbers, and hair salons, to deliver Amazon packages in their local communities. This initiative creates a flexible and new way for partners to boost their bottom line, working with their existing staff and ultimately building a stronger local community.
Through Amazon Hub Delivery, partners can make up to $27,000 in incremental income a year and generate a profitable new revenue stream that could contribute to a much larger impact across the country. This program could result in $38 million in additional income for participating businesses in 2023 if Amazon reaches its goal of onboarding 2,500 partners. An example of a business owner who has benefited from this program is LaKeisha Palmer, owner of CK Craft Supply in Missouri, who has been able to drive additional income that now helps support her business sustainably. She has been able to deliver up to 40 packages a day in about two hours, without additional staff, through the Amazon Hub Delivery pilot program.
As Amazon continues to evolve and serve its customers’ needs, the company aims to deliver at faster speeds and invest in the communities where its customers live and work. Businesses interested in joining the Amazon Hub Delivery program can visit amazon.com/hubdelivery to learn more, with spots being limited and applications being reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. Additionally, this program is available in 23 states initially and plans to expand to more states and cities in the future, providing an opportunity for more businesses to benefit from this innovative delivery model.
